What is an
Australian Labradoodle?
An Australian Labradoodle is a purpose-bred dog developed from Labrador Retriever, Poodle, and (in the breed's early development) Irish Water Spaniel and Cocker Spaniel bloodlines, refined over decades to be consistent in temperament, coat, and health rather than a first-generation mix. That consistency is the whole point of a multi-generational breeding program like Brookside's: later generations are far more predictable than an F1 (first-generation) cross.
